Angelina Jolie breastfeeding one of her twins, graces the cover of the November issue of W magazine. And according to experts, the fact that a celebrity, who is popular and beautiful , is breastfeeding, will inspire other women to want to do so as well.
Psychotherapist Shannon Fox told Reuters, "If someone as popular, beautiful and together as Angelina is breastfeeding her children, it inspires other women to do so themselves."
Jane Krouse, La Leche Leagure International rep said, "Mothers of twins report it takes a lot of time, effort and physical energy to breastfeed. I think the picture is beautiful."
Mama Knows Breast author Andi Silverman added, "I think it is fabulous. Seeing a celebrity like Angelina Jolie breastfeed can be a role model to encourage women to make a choice that is wonderful for their baby."
According to Reuters, 70% of American moms breastfeed their newborns, but after six months the rate drops dramatically.
Angelina wasn't shy about letting Brad photograph her while breastfeeding. Jolie said, "I'm with a man who's evolved enough to look at my body and see it as more beautiful, because of the journey it has taken and what it has created. He genuinely sees it that way. So I genuinely feel even sexier."
