Brand New Father Kyle MacLachlan Can't Get Enough of Dadhood

Kyle MacLachlan is a happy man. He's known perhaps more now for his role on "Desperate Housewives," but is probably still remembered for "Twin Peaks." And the 49-year-old is a brand new father to son Callum, who he calls "pretty adorable."

Every parent-to-be hears that life will never be the same after a child, and it's true. But you never believe it for yourself until it happens to you, till that baby drops. Kyle was another of countless people proved wrong. "It does change you, from the inside, and in a way that you really can't describe. It's a magical, magical thing."

Whenever Kyle has to travel from one coast to the other, he usually brings alone wife Desiree and Callum these days, and often on the red-eye flight. That way Callum sleeps the whole way.

He said that "breastmilk is like gold around the house. One time there was a spill of a bottle of pumped milk and it was tragic. That stuff is hard to come by!"
