"My Name is Earl" star Jaime Pressly was on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" last week and talked about life with her 16-month-old son, Dezi James Calvo. She said that the Pressly genes aren't very strong, so it's kind of surprising that Dezi has big blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, like his mom.
Her fiance, Eric, is "very, very dark. He's Cuban with an olive complexion. Dezi came out looking like you [Conan]. It's pretty crazy! Although he does tan really well."

Where the genes come in rather strongly, she says, is in the voicebox. "Cubans are very loud," she says. "You think that when they're speaking to each other in Spanish they're mad, but they're really just saying, 'Hey, do you want to go get a cup of coffee?'"

"So that kid is just like 'MOMMY!' all the time."

Weird, I scream "MOMMY!" every time I see Jaime, too. Is it just me?

The new season of "My Name is Earl," thankfully, has returned to NBC.
