Lindsay Lohan's Record Slip

Monday, November 17, 2008

Lindsay Lohan is avoiding her record company because she hasn't finished her album.

The 'Mean Girls' actress is supposed to be completing work on her third record but admits she has been unable to concentrate on the LP as well as her record label hoped and so is refusing to return their calls as she doesn't want to release anything in the near future.

She told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "I just got off the phone with my Motown manager. I've been avoiding calling her back. I just didn't want to. With my other records, I kind of just did it, just to do it.

"I want to be able to focus and balance my life, so I can enjoy each thing as I do it and as it comes."

The album, 'Spirit in the Dark', was originally meant to be released this month.

Lindsay has worked with a range of stars, rumoured to include Ne-Yo, Kanye West and Timbaland, on the record in the hope of it proving more successful than her last effort, 2005's 'A Little More Personal (Raw)'.
