Cate Blanchett Immortalized In Hollywood
Saturday, December 6, 2008'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' star Cate Blanchett was awarded on Friday with a coveted Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame -- and ET was there! Cate was thrilled with the honor, but you'll never guess where she thinks they may move her Star!
Cate's Star is located in front of the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Blvd., and although she recognized the "timeless" quality of the iconic symbol, she self-deprecatingly joked, "I'm sure they'll move me down to the men's urinal several blocks down, but it's incredible."
"There's something sort of eternal about it," continued Cate. "It's so beyond the realms of what I ever thought possible."
Cate is a five-time Oscar nominee, and landed her Academy Award for her memorable portrayal of Katharine Hepburn opposite Leonardo DiCaprio's Howard Hughes in 'The Aviator.'
'Benjamin Button' comes out in theaters Christmas day.
