Nicole Richie put her burgeoning baby bump on show during a family day out in Los Angeles yesterday.

The former Simple Life star has until now kept her figure hidden under flowing summer dresses but this time opted for a figure-hugging black vest, floral shrug and jeans.

Nicole was joined on her shopping trip by her long-term partner, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, and their daughter, one-year-old daughter Harlow.

The 27-year-old, who is around four months pregnant, this week laughed off rumours they are expecting twins.

'I have twins!' she told reporters at a charity even earlier this week, as she gestured to Joel and his brother Benji Madden.

The reality star, who is the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, also revealed this week her second pregnancy has inspired her to launch her own maternity fashion line.
