Massachusetts Senator Edward Kennedy celebrated his birthday Sunday night in Washington D.C. alongside some of his celebrity friends, including comedian Bill Cosby.
Cosby hosted the celebration at the Kennedy center and President Barack Obama led the guests in singing "Happy Birthday." Other celebs to attend included actresses Bernadette Peters and Lauren Bacall as well as conductor John Williams, the Associated Press reports.
The 77-year-old senator has been continuing treatment for brain cancer at a facility in Florida but recently returned to D.C. for a White House health care summit.
Kennedy also became British nobility last week, being awarded an honorary knighthood.
