Less than three weeks after she was supposedly blindsided by the country's least favorite single dad on national TV, Melissa Rycroft has found a new man.

And, in the ultimate revenge against her one-time fiance, Melissa's boyfriend shares the same first name as Jason's son. She's been dating an insurance agent named Ty.

"We've been really good friends, but the timing was never right," Rycroft tells Us Weekly in its latest issue. "With all this going on, he's my support system. It's funny how things happen."

The revelation that Melissa has truly moved on caps a winning week for the spurned beauty.

On Monday, she drew raves from Dancing with the Stars judges, as well as a standing ovation from the crowd, following her and Tony Dovolani's performance of the waltz.

"She feels like Cinderella right now," said Dancing with the Stars producer Conrad Green. "Someone's just called her up and invited her to the ball!"

Continuing his apology publicity tour, Jason Mesnick insists he never cheated on The Bachelor winner Melissa Rycroft with runner-up Molly Malaney before he publicly dumped the former for the latter on the "After the Final Rose" special.

It's not easy being "the most hated man in America right now," or so Jason said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this morning, where he offered this to fans:

"I think what I want to do is to apologize to everybody out there. All the fans of the show because thank you for watching, but this was my real life."

"It was the hardest thing I've had to do," Jason said of the controversial switcheroo.

"I made some big mistakes and that's what I wanted to sit here and talk about today - the mistakes I made. But in the end I found my true love."

He also expressed regret over telling Melissa Rycroft on camera about Molly (Melissa said Jason lied about her yesterday in her own interview on Ellen).

"I completely regret doing that," Mesnick said with seeming sincerity and Molly Malaney by his side. "I regretted it every single day since that happened."

"I will regret it every day for the rest of my life. The producers obviously really wanted me to do it on the show, but I take responsibility for my actions."

"I could've not shown up and when I look back, I was just trying to do what I thought was right for me. If I could go back and do it again I would not do that."

Despite Melissa Rycroft's speculation that Jason Mesnick had been talking to Molly again prior to humiliating her on TV, he swears he hadn't, saying asking for Molly back was "one of the scariest things that I've had to do."

Then there's Molly Malaney herself, in the tough situation of feeling sorry for Melissa, but genuinely happy for herself with the guy she ended up landing.

"You know, there were moments where I sympathized with Melissa for sure," she said. "I was heartbroken by this guy, too. So I know what she was going through."

"But I do give him a lot of credit for doing what he did," the 24-year-old native of Grand Rapids, Mich., added. Because he is standing up for what is best for him. I think if there is any time to be selfish, it's when love is involved."

They're not getting married anytime soon, but she says she's moving to Seattle at some point. The two happy and taking life a day at a time, and trying to get America to stop the hate one talk show and People magazine cover at time.

It's been quite a week for Jason Mesnick.

More than 17 million viewers watched the single dad get down on one knee and propose to Dallas beauty Melissa Rycroft on the two-hour season finale of The Bachelor, only to dump her like 45 seconds later on the "After the Final Rose" special.

Mesnick then confessed he still had feelings for Michigan department store buyer Molly Malaney - to the dismay of Rycroft, who said in her first interview after the finale that Jason lied about Molly to her on more than one occasion.

The shocking events will be hotly debated for some time, but Jason and Molly are brushing off the haters and looking very happy on the cover of People.

In an exclusive sit-down interview with the celeb news magazine, Jason again defends his decision to dump Melissa Rycroft in front of the ABC cameras.

"That was part of the deal. I signed up for this. Your relationship is - good and bad - in front of everybody," Mesnick lied to People through his teeth.

In her interview, as well as her personal emails to Jason, Melissa Rycroft did corroborrate The Bachelor star's statement that they drifted apart shortly after they returned from New Zealand and tried to resume their normal lives.

"After we got back into the real world, we had less to talk about, and I didn't know why," says Jason, who couldn't stop thinking about the girl he left behind.

Turns out Molly Malaney shared similar feelings.

"After the finale I thought he made the wrong decision and I was so upset. I was totally shocked," Malaney says. "I thought, Gosh, it would be so awesome if he called me up and was like 'I made a mistake, I want you back.'"

"Never in a million years did I think it would happen."

As the fallout from the season finale of The Bachelor continues, Access Hollywood claims to have uncovered personal e-mails between Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft, his chosen fiancee who he dumped on national TV four minutes later.

In the first of several emails, Melissa Rycroft expressed her anger at Jason following the "After the Rose" special (taped in mid-January), in which Jason dumped her hard and opted for a second chance with runner-up Molly Malaney.

While Jason's change of heart shocked viewers who saw it unfold about 16 seconds after their televised engagement, Melissa may have seen it coming.

She wrote in the e-mail dated January 19:

"Last night didn't go NEAR how I thought... I still can't believe how you can't give reasons other than 'It changed.'... You know as well as I do that you didn't give 100% to me or the relationship. I don't understand how you can walk away form something without giving it your all. But I am walking away knowing I did."

Jason hands Melissa a rose (and false hope) in the season premiere.

In the initial e-mail after the taping, Melissa Rycroft seemed quite clued in to Jason's feelings for Molly Malaney prior to his tearful TV confession:

"And getting confirmation about Molly in front of people like that was a complete classless move if you ask me - how could you do that to me after I repeatedly asked you about it? I'm not stupid, I knew about Molly... and you lied to me about it. I can't even tell you how much respect I lost for you... but it makes this whole process from here on out much easier for me."

In an interview with People after Monday's finale, Jason Mesnick insisted that he had no choice in how the situation played out, that it was "part of the deal" in his contract - a sentiment echoed in his reply e-mail to Melissa.

Jason wrote the following:

"The producers had a lot to do with it. I am so sorry. This is so horrible."

Melissa Rycroft wasn't buying that weak sauce excuse, responding:

"You are a grown man and perfectly capable of making your own decisions. Own your actions and stop blaming this process."

Oh, snap!

In a later e-mail, dated January 21, Jason answered Melissa's note, going as far as to say he suffered karmic retribution for calling off the engagement:

"You don't deserve any of it at all. I wish there were more that I could say. I want to take all of your pain away and put it on me. If you are talking about Karma, I slipped and fell and had a huge gash in my leg 3 inches wide and to the bone. I deserve so much worse for what I am doing to you."

And in the final e-mail between the two, also dated January 21, Melissa reflected on Jason being dumped by DeAnna Pappas on The Bachelorette:

"I do think it's a little ironic that you kept telling me, 'Morally, how could I ever get back with DeAnna after what she did to me?' And I agree... just seems like a very similar situation with your new lady... Just a little irony I guess. Seeing the person that you became, you are right: a relationship between you and I would never work out... I'm not mad... I'm not hurt - seeing how things were handled helped me get over things quickly. I do wish you both the best though. Take care."

He did what he had to do.

That was Jason Mesnick’s explanation for proposing to, then publicly dumping Melissa Rycroft in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney on The Bachelor season finale.

Jason says he would have preferred to have delivered the news to Rycroft off camera, but the contract he signed with The Bachelor’s producers and ABC spelled out that he had to make this painful declaration on national TV.

“That was part of the deal. I signed up for it in my contract. Your relationship is - good and bad - in front of everybody,” says Mesnick. “If I could have, I would have seen Melissa the night before. It killed me. It kills me now.”

After a romantic final date in New Zealand, the single dad, 32, proposed to Melissa Rycroft, 25, in the two-hour season finale of The Bachelor. She was happy.

But on the "After the Final Rose" special, filmed six weeks later but airing just minutes after the finale, he gave a seemingly unsuspecting Melissa the boot.

Moreover, he confessed he still had feelings for Molly Malaney.

Jason Mesnick ponders his final decision on the finale of The Bachelor ... and how he's going to sleep at night after pulling off the elaborate ratings stunt concocted by ABC.

Supposedly having no idea about this, Molly was then informed by Jason that he just dumped Melissa, and accepted Jason's offer to give it another shot.

Mesnick knows what Bachelor viewers must think of him:

"‘That guy is a jerk.’ ... I’m not proud of what I had to do.”

Offering only a vague explanation of why - which lends credence to the Bachelor spoilers that suggest this was all contrived - Mesnick said only that after The Bachelor cameras stopped rolling, the chemistry with Melissa began to fade.

“After we got back into the real world, all of a sudden, we had less to talk about and I didn’t know why. I started thinking wow, what’s happening with us? Why aren’t we communicating the way we did when the show was going on?” said Mesnick.

“I didn’t say something right away because I wanted to figure out what was going in inside of me. There was part of me that wanted things to work out with Melissa so bad. But the other piece was I had these crazy feelings for Molly.”

Finally, Jason Mesnick says, he could not deny the truth: “Melissa and I just have different ways of communicating. We’re not right for each other.”

The Internets are buzzing over The Bachelor spoilers from a blogger who seems to be at least somewhat in the know, and who adamantly claims the ABC reality hit's producers rigged this entire season - right from the beginning.

In this Bachelor spoiler bombshell is to be believed, single dad Jason Mesnick picks Melissa Rycroft on the March 2 finale, but after the proposal to the former NFL cheerleader, he secretly continues to date runner-up Molly Malaney.

The "shocking" details will supposedly be revealed at the "After the Final Rose" special airing immediately after the season finale, with a second "After The Final Rose, Part 2" special now on tap to air the next night, March 3.

An ABC rep would not confirm these rumors, except to say that the finale has been taped, and that both "After The Rose" specials are still in production.

But The Bachelor host Chris Harrison said at the end of last Monday's episode that the developments were so shocking, producers kept the cameras rolling.

So does Molly Malaney really end up with Jason Mesnick, or is this prescient blogger just making stuff up to get hits on his site (it's working if so)?

For whatever it's worth, a writer from her hometown Grand Rapids Press says The Bachelor conspiracy theory posited by "Reality Steve" makes sense in part.

"I think this might actually have something to it, because this theory, that Jason chooses Melissa, only to change his mind and later choose Molly, actually lines up with what my sources have been saying," opines Lorilee Craker.

"Three sources who know [Molly Malaney] and have stayed in touch with her since the show started have said she probably doesn't win, from what they can gather, but that she has told them all the experience was 'life changing.'"

"I also think the fact that there is a second 'After the Rose' special is odd, and also seems to give a more weight to this theory. I've also heard that Molly has been making trips to L.A. 'for work,' which would corroborate this as well."

Yet there's one part of The Bachelor conspiracy theory she isn't buying.

"What I don't think is true, though, is that [Jason Mesnick] would pick Melissa or anyone because the show told him to. He may be a kissing fool, but he's not an ice cold lying dog. At least, he doesn't seem like one to me."

Therein lies perhaps the most intriguing element of this.

If this Bachelor spoiler turned out to be true, the biggest twist - and most controversial facet - would be that it was all planned by the ABC powers that be.

Possibly from a very early stage, even.

That means both ABC and Jason Mesnick agreed to make Melissa Rycroft suffer a huge amount of shock, heartbreak and embarrassment in front of America.

Hey, it makes for great TV, and you can only feel so sorry for anyone who voluntarily appears on a show like The Bachelor. At the same time, pulling a stunt like that for ratings would certainly dent Jason's good-guy image, wouldn't it?

What would Ty say?!

If he really did participate in an elaborate ratings ruse at the expense of Melissa Rycroft, Mr. Nice Guy Jason Mesnick may lose at least part of his huge fan base.
